KH-151 is a colorless and transparent, low viscosity liquid, Its smell is somewhat similar to that of benzene solvent It can be dissolved in aliphatic solvents and aromatic solvents such as alcohol, ether, ketone It is also soluble in water, however, hydrolysis occurs. Hydrolysates are not stable ,and the storage period is short.KH-151 Main uses are as follows:
1.Silane cross-linked polymer: KH-151 can be used for preparation of moisture-curing silane cross-linked polymer, such as the silane cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) In the extruder's extrusion process .KH-151 can be grafted to the polymer under the action of peroxide initiator, the silane grafted material can cross - together via poaching, steam bath or absorbing water vapor in the air, thus thermoplastic resin will be converted into thermosetting resins. Silane cross-linked polymer has better heat resistance and mechanical strength, chemical resistance. than the original thermoplastic resin
2.As adhesion promoter, surface modifiers, cross-linking agent and dispersant. KH-151 is to upgrade the combination of power and compatibility between inorganic mineral powder material, fiber and polymers(resin) . And to improve the adhesion, water resistance between resin coating and the inorganic substrate.
3.KH-151 as a comonomer preparation of silicone-modified polymer (such as acrylic emulsions, styrene-butadiene latex, etc.) to enhance the polymer-modified water-resistance, adhesion, and scrub nature.
