Silane KH-902:3-Aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane is a single amino-bifunctional silane. Amino can react with many kinds of resins. While, the Si-OH formed after the hydrolysis of the B methoxyl can have condensation reaction with the hydroxyl on the surface of the inorganic materials. Thus erected between inorganic materials and resins,”molecular bridge”, to play a role in coupling. KH-902 is a colorless to slightly yellowish low-viscosity liquid with an amine-like odor. It is soluble in alcohols, and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons. However acetone and phenoxin can not be used as diluents. 3-Aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane can also be soluble in water, but hydrolysis occurs and hydrolysates have a certain storage period.
