Silane KH-570 3- Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane

TDS MSDS
Silane KH-570:3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane
also known as 3 - (trimethoxy-silyl) propyl -2 - methyl -2 - acrylate. 3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane is a methacryloyl silane, Its molecular structure contains unsaturated double bonds.
KH-570 is a colorless and transparent, low viscosity liquid .Its smell is somewhat similar to that of mercaptan, It is soluble in aliphatic solvents and aromatic solvents such as alcohol, ether, and ketones. It is also soluble in water, however, hydrolysis occurs. Hydrolysates are not stable, and the storage period is short.
KH-570 can be used as adhesion promoter, surface modifiers, and cross-linking agent and dispersant. It is to upgrade the combination of power and compatibility between inorganic mineral powder material, fiber and polymers (resin). And to improve the adhesion, water resistance between resin coating and the inorganic substrate.
KH-570 is primarily used as coupling agent to improve the adhesion property between the radical cross-linked resins (e.g., unsaturated polyester resins) and inorganic materials such as glass fiber, mineral filler. Typical uses include rubber and plastic materials, modification, paint, coatings, adhesives, glass fiber; glass fiber reinforced plastic, artificial stone and other industries.
